NEW IN 2021:

John’s Disposal collects yard waste from residents every other Monday, between the months of April and November (begins April 5th).  Stickers are no longer needed to place yard waste out for pick up.

  • All items must be compostable
  • All yard waste must be contained.
  • Items can be placed in paper compostable bags and securely sealed or in reusable containers that are 32 gal/60lbs or less.

Please note that yard waste includes leaves, grass clippings, yard and garden debris and brush including clean woody vegetative material no greater than 4 inches in diameter; it does not include stumps, roots or shrubs with intact root balls. Special Collections

  • What if a resident has yard waste but collection day has passed? A special collection may be arranged by calling Johns Disposal at 262-473-4700. Alternatively, the property owner can wait until the next collection date before placing the yard waste in the right-of-way.
  • Yard waste in the public right-of-way which are set out too early or late will be tagged with a notice indicating the resident has 48 hours to remove the items. Tags will be noted with the date and time that they were placed. If yard waste is not removed within 48 hours as stated on the tag, a special collection will be arranged with Johns Disposal and the resident will be charged accordingly.
