Election Day is fast approaching. Here are some reminders for residents planning on voting:

In-Person Absentee Voting is currently being held and will be ending this Friday, November 1st, at 5:00 p.m. If you are interested in voting early, please come to the Village of Wind Point office at 215 E Four Mile Road and bring a valid form of identification. All absentee ballots are sealed in an envelope and are locked until Election Day. The Village of Wind Point would like to ensure residents that there is meticulous record keeping of ballots and various precautions to ensure Election security.

If you are not registered to vote, this can be done in-person during office hours. Please bring proof of residence (ex: a recent utility bill, bank/credit card statement, WI driver’s license or ID, and more ). A voter registration form can be found here. Fill it out, print it, and return it to the Village office to register. This Friday is the last day to register in office as it is restricted the Saturday, Sunday, and Monday before Election Day. Voters may register on Election Day at their polling place.

Election Day is November 5th from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the DPW garage, behind the Village office. Please bring a valid form of ID. Curbside voting is available for voters who are unable to vote in the polling place. Voters or their assistant should notify a poll worker and they will assist you for this process.

If you have any questions related to voting or voting procedures, Village staff are happy to answer them. You may call us at 262-639-3524, e-mail [email protected], or visit us in office.
