Recently, a batch of letters were sent out regarding well permits. Currently, the Wind Point Village office is going through old records to verify or dismiss information. These letters are notifying residents that in our files, it is noted that a well is on your property without paperwork for abandonment or usage. This information may not be relevant to you, as the well was sealed off/abandoned/has not been in use for several decades. We recognize these letters may be confusing or conflicting with the information you have about your property. We kindly ask that if you have received a letter, if the well has been abandoned or that if you are unaware of one on your property, to call the Village office and notify staff at 262-639-3524.
