According to the 2017 survey, 6 million Americans have misused or abused controlled prescription drugs. A majority of abused prescription drugs were obtained from family and friends, often from the home medicine cabinet.
Wind Point residents can safely and anonymously discard prescription (and non-prescription) drugs at the WP Village Office, 215 E Four Mile Rd., Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Please do your part to keep prescription drugs out of the wrong hands and out of our waterways. Discard them safely.
