A statewide primary election was held on Tuesday, February 16. According to the final local results, there was a 23.8% turnout of registered voters in Wind Point. The only race on the ballot in Wind Point was Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice. Rebecca Bradley received 171 votes, JoAnne Kloppenburg received 113 votes and Joe Donald received 33 votes.
There were a total of 9 outstanding absentee ballots as of the closing of the polls on Tuesday. One absentee ballot was postmarked by election day and received by the village clerk by Friday, February 19; it was processed by the municipal board of canvassers and added to the final results.
