The Village Board adopted the 2016 Stormwater Utility budget with an increase to the stormwater utility fee. The base fee will increase from $8.50 to $9.46 per equivalent residential unit (ERU) effective January 1. It is the first increase to the base fee since the utility was created in 2008. The typical single-family house with 1 ERU will see an increase of $0.96 to the stormwater utility portion of their quarterly water bill beginning with the first quarter bills that are mailed out in March.
