Don’t forget to license your dog(s) for 2015! State law requires dogs to be licensed annually. Licensing helps prevent against rabies outbreaks by requiring a certificate of vaccination for all dogs over the age of 4 months. More importantly, licensing your pet increases the chance that you will be reunited with your pet in the unfortunate event he or she is lost.
A dog license application, along with license fee and copy of rabies certificate, should be submitted for each dog to the Village Office by mail, dropbox or in-person. If submitting by mail, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope for the tag and receipt to be returned to you. There is a $5.00 late fee for applications received after April 1.
If you have a new dog, please note all dogs over the age of 5 months are required to be licensed with 30 days.
Thank you for your cooperation!
