From the Wind Point Police Department
On 9/23/2022, Racine County Sheriff’s Office, and the Caledonia Police Department responded to the area of Lake Meadow Dr. and Lighthouse Dr. in Wind Point. A female jogger reported being followed by a Tan Toyota Van, operated by a white male. The female jogger stated that the vehicle made multiple U Turns and continuously followed her while on her run.
CAPD and Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle as it turned into Shoop Park. The subject was verbally uncooperative at times, instantly agitated and stated he was just waiting for a friend to contact him so that they could meet for a run.
The suspect was taken into custody due to a separate incident. He was booked into Racine County Jail.
