Nomination forms are available for Wind Point residents interested in running for Village Board Trustee in April. Trustee seats currently held by Karen Van Lone, David Heller and Jay Hammes will be up for election. The nomination forms may be downloaded from the Government Accountability Board (GAB) website or picked up at the Administrative Office at 215 E. Four Mile Rd.
Following is a list of the required forms to get on the April ballot:
- Registration Statement (Form GAB-1) – submit this form prior to collecting signatures.
- Nomination (Signature) Paper (Form GAB-169) – at least 20 signatures must be obtained from eligible Wind Point electors.
- Declaration of Candidacy (Form GAB-162)
Candidates may begin collecting signatures on December 1. All paperwork must be submitted to the Administrative Office by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7.
