Administrative Assistant (Part-Time – 18 hours per week)

The Village of Wind Point is seeking an energetic, personable and qualified individual to serve as its new administrative assistant!

The administrative assistant is a permanent part-time position responsible for providing high-quality customer service to the public and providing administrative support for the Village of Wind Point and Wind Point Water Utility. This position reports to the Village Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer and will work as part of a small administrative team.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional training preferred in the areas of accounting, computer use and office procedures. This position also requires a minimum of two years of prior office experience with accounting and customer service experience. Equivalencies may be considered.

Successful candidate must have a strong desire to provide consistently excellent service to the public. Must have knowledge of modern office and computer equipment, practices, and procedures and must have or be able to develop proficiency using software applications, including QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.  Must have professional attitude and appearance and be able to work collaboratively in a small office environment. Must have a commitment to continuous improvement and a willingness to learn. Starting wage rate $15.00-$16.00 per hour, depending on qualifications. This position is not eligible for benefits.
