On Saturday, June 16, runners participating in the annual YMCA Lighthouse Run will make their way through Wind Point from about 8:15 to 10 a.m., running counter-clockwise on the inside lane of Three Mile Rd., Lighthouse Dr. and Four Mile Rd. The outside lane will be open for vehicular traffic (one way). Please plan accordingly as delays are to be expected at intersections during the race, particularly the Three Mile Rd. and Four Mile Rd. intersections along Main St.
Triathlon Canceled
As announced last fall in The Journal Times, the Ironman Racine event that has come through Wind Point for many years has been discontinued. A similar event called “Real Racine Triathlon” was being organized for July 15, 2018, but that event has been canceled due to lack of registrations.
