Wind Point residents enjoy walking in the summertime to stay active and take in all of the beautiful scenery. For the safety of both pedestrians and drivers, residents are asked to walk facing oncoming traffic and on the same side of the road as oncoming traffic. Also, please be as far to the side of the road as possible to provide space between you and oncoming cars. When bicycling, please ride on the right (going in the same direction as automobile traffic). When it gets dark out, be sure to carry a flashlight or wear reflective or lighted apparel.
Drivers must obey the speed limits and remain attentive while operating vehicles, especially in Wind Point where there are many pedestrians and bicyclists and no sidewalks. Please set your phone aside and keep your eyes on the road at all times. Your neighbors will notice and appreciate your cooperation!
