Dog owners are reminded that it is state law to license your dog each year before April 1. Please note that if you are a Wind Point resident the dog license is obtained from the Wind Point Village Office. If you received a postcard from the City of Racine about obtaining a license through the Racine Health Department, please disregard that notice.
The dog license fee is $15 for neutered or spayed dogs and $35 for unaltered dogs. A dog license application, along with the license fee and copy of rabies certificate, can be submitted to the Village Office by mail, drop-box or in-person. If submitting by mail or drop-box, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope for the tag and receipt to be returned to you. The fine for an unlicensed dog after April 1 is $187.00.
