Nomination forms are available for Wind Point residents interested in running for Village Board Trustee, Village President or Municipal Judge. Prospective candidates can begin collecting signatures on December 1. The final day for filing nomination forms is January 6, 2015. Forms for Village Trustee and President should be filed with the Village Clerk; forms for Judge are filed with the Racine County Clerk.
The incumbents for the Village Trustee positions that are up for election are Dave Durment, Marty Meissner and Susan Sanabria. The Village President is Pete Christensen and the Wind Point/North Bay Municipal Judge is John Knuteson. The spring election will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015 and the primary election will be held February 17, 2015, if necessary.
